Allied Solutions Offer SmartVideo

CARMEL, Ind.—Allied Solutions said it will offer SmartVideo technology, powered by SundaySky, to its CU clients that will allow them to create videos tailored to individuals. The technology, the company said, gets “members are engaged in a way that traditional print and electronic communications simply cannot.”

Among those rolling out the technology is PenFed, Alexandria, Va., which is using it to onboard members. Early results, the company said, found more than 90% of respondents saying the videos help them to understand account information and 79% watch the videos in their entirety. Eighty-three percent of PenFed’s members who view the video say they would refer a friend or family member.

“Greeting each member by name and walking them through the details of a new automobile loan, including the monthly payment and due date, is another way we can show our members how much we value their business,” said Shashi Vohra, EVP and president of affiliate businesses at PenFed.
