ALLEGAN, Mich.–Allegan Community FCU has become the newest owner of the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based CUSO, CU*Answers.
The $34-million credit union represents approximately 6,500 members. Allegan Community FCU becomes the 128th current CU*Answers credit union owner.
“With five new owners already added during the 2016 fiscal year, there remains a strong desire among credit unions to engage with their peers and to participate directly within a true cooperative business model, such as CU*Answers,” said Scott Page, CU*Answers EVP. “They want to exercise their equal voting privilege for helping set the future direction of their technology partner. For most, this represents a very unique opportunity.”
