KETCHIKAN, Alaska.–The Alaska Credit Union League has named a new president.
The league has selected Tim Sullivan to lead the organization. He was formally introduced to credit unions at the league’s annual meeting in Ketchikan. He succeeds Dan McCue, who retired.
Sullivan has more than 30 years of experience in government affairs. He began by serving for six years as staff in the Alaska State Legislature, and was the statewide coordinator for Lisa Murkowski’s first U.S. senate campaign.
‘Just About Every Industry’
In addition, the league said Sullivan has worked for just about every industry in Alaska, including oil and gas, mining, fisheries, transportation, tourism, health care and more.
Most recently, Sullivan served as external affairs director for the Alaska Railroad. He resides in Anchorage with his wife, Terrill, and their two children.
