SAN ANTONIO–Air Force FCU has leased space here for its new headquarters building.
The space is being leased by the $660-million AFFCU in the Trinity Plaza near the San Antonio Zoo.
According to a statement, the credit union will renovate the space and move in by early 2025. The building is owned by Mulberry Partners LLC, an entity tied to Red McCombs Enterprises. The five-story, 46,623-sqaure-foot building currently houses Wells Fargo, but the statement indicates that the current tenants have 18 months to leave the property.
"We're excited to relocate our corporate headquarters to a more centralized location near downtown and the Pearl," said President and CEO Ryan Ross in a statement. "Trinity Plaza 1 and the surrounding area will provide our employees with the amenities and work setting they deserve."
AFFCU has more than 53,000 members.
