JACKSONVILLE, Fla.–A month after its online and mobile banking systems crashed during a conversion, VyStar Credit Union has introduced its new mobile app.
Available through the App Store and Google Play Store, members must delete the former app from VyStar and install the updated app.
As CUToday.info has been reporting since the May 14 crash of its online and mobile banking solutions during a conversion to a new platform from Nymbus, VyStar has been scrambling to return the solutions to service amid media coverage, regulatory investigations and extensive member dissatisfaction.
The $12.3-billion VyStar has also been named as a potential defendant in a class action suit related to the outage.
In a message to members, VyStar CU said its new mobile app “has been redesigned to help you manage your finances when and how you choose.”
Some of the new or enhanced features include:
- Improved Zelle capabilities, including contact import
- Mobile check deposit
- Detailed and customizable transaction alerts
- Expanded Bill Pay
