After Less Than a Year in Job, Louisiana League CEO Exits Post

HARAHAN, La.–Less than a year after joining the Louisiana Credit Union League as its new CEO, Matt Rookard has left the organization.

According to the LCUL’s website, the league’s EVP of business solutions, Steven Liberto, has been named interim president/CEO.

As CUToday.info reported, Rookard was announced in April of 2021 as the new league CEO, succeeding Bob Gallman. Rookard had previously served as president/CEO of the Terrebonne Economic Development Authority, and prior to that as senior vice president-business development at Greater New Orleans, Inc. and as a project manager at Louisiana Economic Development.
