SNELLVILLE, Ga. – The African American Credit Union Coalition (AACUC) said it is inviting all credit union professionals and industry partners to attend its virtual conference on August 16-21.
The annual conference is a five-day event of training, networking, and educational opportunities for current and future credit union professionals, the organization said.
“Our theme this year is ‘Be Bold. Be Mindful. Be Brave.’ It is a call to action as we continue to educate our industry on the importance of embracing diversity, equity and inclusion,” said AACUC President/CEO Renee Sattiewhite. “Our esteemed speakers will each bring a unique element to the conference, and I have no doubt that our attendees will be blown away by their presentations. We are also thrilled to honor credit union change makers through our DEI Trailblazer recognition and Hall of Fame ceremony.”
The AACUC said the weeklong series will feature an array of virtual sessions led by expert panelists and speakers representing financial services, healthcare, and academia. AACUC will host a virtual reality fair, Young Professionals Summit (YPS), and an “After Hours” networking event.
