ST. PAUL, Minn.–Affinity Plus FCU said it has entered into a new three-year sponsorship with St. Cloud State University Huskies Athletics.
According to the credit union, the sponsorship includes:
- Opportunities to use the SCSU Huskies logo in credit union signage, advertisements and customized promotions for students, faculty, alumni and the greater St. Cloud community.
- Visibility through radio and digital advertising, e-mail communications to students and season-ticket holders, and arena signage in the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center and Halenbeck Hall.
- Creation of the Community Organization of the Night program. During the 2017-2018 season Huskies’ hockey games, Affinity Plus said it will spotlight and feature nominated Central Minnesota Region organizations and community groups.
Affinity Plus FCU CEO Dave Larson said the new SCSU Athletics sponsorship is a natural partnership, given the credit union’s long-time presence in the community and on campus. Affinity Plus has an on-campus branch in the Atwood Memorial Center, as well as a community branch.
“We really like that members and fans attending Huskies Athletic events can be proud that their credit union supports Huskies Athletics,” Larson said. “More than that, the sponsorship demonstrates another way Affinity Plus works hard to be an integral part of the Central Minnesota Region.”
Learfield's St. Cloud State Sports Properties, the university's athletics multimedia rights holder, developed the partnership with Affinity Plus and will manage all aspects on behalf of the school.
