BASKING RIDGE, N.J.–Affinity Federal Credit Union has introduced its inaugural year Affinity Wellbeing Awards, which it said will highlight individuals and organizations in New Jersey that display excellence in three critical aspects of wellbeing. Those three aspects are financial, community and physical.
“The awards will celebrate and encourage efforts that positively impact the wellbeing of New Jersey communities,” the credit union said. “New Jersey-based leaders and organizations are invited to nominate individuals or groups that have demonstrated innovative programming or resources contributing significantly to one of the three wellbeing categories of financial, community and physical.”
The $4.3-billion Affinity FCU said the criteria for selection will emphasize impact, innovation, and commitment to improving the wellbeing of the community or individuals served, and aim to promote the spirit of resilience and wellness, “aligning with Affinity’s commitment to supporting its members and the wider community.”
‘Central to the Fabric’
"The concept of wellbeing is central to the fabric of Affinity," CEO Kevin Brauer said in a statement. “We have seen our commitment to wellbeing reflected by other individuals and organizations across our home state, and we strive to recognize those who are making a real difference in our community as a result of their wellbeing efforts. We are eager to celebrate the achievements of our nominees and continue to foster a spirit of wellbeing throughout New Jersey."
