Affiliates Management Co. Donates $42,500 To Start Fundraising

DES MOINES, Iowa—The Iowa Credit Union League’s (ICUL) holding company, Affiliates Management Co. (AMC), and its family of companies, including PolicyWorks, The Members Group (TMG) and TMG Financial Services, have made a lead charitable donation of $42,500 to the Iowa Credit Union Foundation (ICUF) for its 20th anniversary fundraising campaign, which kicks off this month.

“Over the past 20 years, ICUF has served countless Iowans by providing more than $500,000 in disaster relief to those in need, as well as more than $230,000 in grants and scholarships to credit unions and their members,” said AMC. “Since 2008, ICUF has successfully secured more than $1.5 million in matched grant funds for its flagship Individual Development Account program.”

AMC said the program has helped more than 500 individuals and families in Iowa reach their dreams of financial stability, homeownership, postsecondary education or starting/expanding a small business.

“The contributions given to ICUF will be used to advance its mission of helping Iowans build wealth, responsibility and independence, with the vision to eliminate poverty in Iowa,” said Patrick S. Jury, president/CEO, ICUL and AMC. “We hope this collective donation will inspire other gifts to aid ICUF in meeting its 20th Anniversary Campaign goal of $200,000.

AMC and its family of companies work to improve the financial lives of consumers. Their contributions to the lead charitable donation include Affiliates Management Company ($20,000), TMG ($10,000), TMG Financial Services ($7,500) and PolicyWorks ($5,000).
