AKUVO Issues Challenge to CUs: And It Costs Nothing But Still Raises Funds for Via Stella Foundation

MALVERN, Penn.— AKUVO has announced a $10,000 fundraising campaign it said is to benefit the Via Stella Foundation, a Polish and American credit union initiative that provides aid to Ukrainian refugees.

Jay Mossman

According to the company, AKUVO became involved with Via Stella after its CEO, Jay Mossman, heard Rafal Matusiak, president of Poland’s credit union trade association and Via Stella CEO, speak at an Underground Collision event hosted by Mitchell Stankovic.

Now, AKUVO said it will donate up to $10,000 to the Foundation with the help of credit union professionals and social media.

‘Simple’ to Support

“Supporting the campaign is simple,” AKUVO said. “For every LinkedIn post or repost that mentions the Via Stella Foundation and includes the hashtag #Just1Post, AKUVO will donate $10 until the $10,000 goal is reached. A Challenge for Everyone

“Giving back to the community is an important part of the people helping people philosophy,” Mossman said. “We are lucky to live in a free society and work in the credit union community. I challenge everyone to support this global credit union effort in any way they can.”
