MIDDLETON, Wis. – The American Credit Union Mortgage Association said it plans to reconvene for its annual conference in-person in September.
ACUMA said it will host its meeting Sept. 12-15 event at the Gaylord National Resort along the Potomac River near Washington, D.C. Dubbed “LIVE WIRE! 25” in honor of its 25th anniversary, the conference will emphasize ACUMA’s core values of networking and education for its membership of mortgage-lending credit union leaders.
“We’re really excited to be able to meet in-person again,” said ACUMA President Tracy Ashfield. “We’ve developed an extensive series of virtual events since the pandemic began, but there’s nothing like face-to-face meetings, and our conference has always provided the best opportunities for our members to get what they need.”
ACUMA said it will adhere to safety requirements for the event for all attendees, guests, exhibitors, speakers and staff.
Registration for credit union and affiliate members will be limited to assure social distancing standards are met.
Registration to Open In June
Conference registration is expected to open in June, with Optimal Blue, an industry leader in secondary marketing automation (now part of Black Knight), as the event’s Megawatt (primary) sponsor.
To ensure that as many credit unions and affiliates as possible can attend, limits will be placed on registrations. Those limits will be announced when safety protocols are finalized and before registration opens. A waiting list will also be established, the organization said.
