ACUMA Names New Board Officers, Board Members

LAS VEGAS– The American Credit Union Mortgage Association (ACUMA) has named its new board officers, as well as welcomed two new members to its board.

The appointments took place at ACUMA’s annual business meeting, held in conjunction with the association’s 26th Annual Meeting at the Cosmopolitan Resort in Las Vegas.

New to the board are Julie Bowering, VP and director of mortgage lending at Elements Financial Credit Union in Indianapolis, and Vince Salinas, VP-home loans at $8 billion Patelco Credit Union in Dublin, Calif

“I am honored to be joining ACUMA as a board member,” Bowering says.  “I am passionate about helping credit unions grow their membership base and achieve real estate lending success. I am committed to serving the board while still being a resource to my credit union peers.”

Added Salinas, “I am very excited to join the ACUMA board. I am grateful to be able to give back to an organization that has given me so much over the past 12 years. I look forward to furthering the credit union movement by increasing and enhancing homeownership through education, marketing, and professional development of our members.”
