WASHINGTON--High level overviews of state regulations of digital assets, cryptocurrency, and blockchain are now available on America's Credit Unions website following an all-state survey on the issues providing the latest compliance data, ACU announced.
The information is available on both the State Government Affairs page under “State Credit Union Issues” and in the Compliance Library under “Blockchain/Crypto/Stablecoin.”
It includes links to the relevant statutes, guidance, and licensing information, as well as information on any relevant sandbox programs or task forces currently in place. A separate column in the table also emphasizes relevant, explicit exemptions in state law, if applicable.
