ACH Networks Operating Normally; Webinar Set for Today

ARLINGTON, Va.—In the midst of increased uncertainty and disruption, the ACH Network is operating normally thanks to the hard work of financial institutions, NAFCU reported.

During a free NAFCU webinar Friday, credit unions will have the opportunity to ask the National Automated Clearing House Association (Nacha)—which manages the development, administration, and governance of the ACH Network—questions and hear how the network is making adjustments to accommodate an increase in processing.

The webinar, set to begin at 11:00 a.m. ET, will feature Nacha's Senior Director of ACH Network Rules Amy Morris who will:

  • Review operational bulletins related to processing ACH during the global pandemic
  • Discuss government usage of the ACH Network, including the economic impact payments
  • Discuss impacts to Nacha rule changes in 2020.
