GLENDORA, Calif. — The National Council for Adoption (NCFA) has selected Mendell L. Thompson, president and CEO of America’s Christian Credit Union (ACCU), for its Adoption Hall of Fame for his tireless advocacy in defending the cause of the fatherless.
The National Council for Adoption will honor Thompson at the “Great Expectations – A Celebration of Adoption” gala ceremony on Nov. 5 in Washington.
Thompson is being honored for his visionary leadership in spearheading the adoption program at America’s Christian Credit Union.
“Since 2009, ACCU has helped nearly 1,200 children find their forever families,” the credit union said.
“This is such an honor and we are so blessed by what God is doing in the lives of these families,” said Thompson. “We believe that every child deserves a forever family and will continue to work every day to advance the cause of adoption.”
