WILLINGBORO, N.J.–ABCO Credit Union has named a new president and CEO. The credit union has selected Jill Peterson to serve to lead the organization.
Credit Union Resources, Inc. conducted the executive search for the $202-million dollar credit union.
With more than 25 years of management experience in the financial services industry, Peterson comes to ABCO FCU from MemberFirst Mortgage, LLC in Grand Rapids, Mich., where she served as the director of business development.
“She devised and implemented strategies to achieve corporate goals for account and product development,” said Credit Union Resources. “She also executed a best practices communication model and crafted compelling content that positioned the organization as the leading subject-matter expert.”
Prior to working at MemberFirst Mortgage, Peterson was the regional sales director of the northeast United States at CU Members Mortgage in Dallas. She is also active in the community and has served on several boards, including the boards of Empire Corporate Federal Credit Union in Albany, N.Y., and Garden State Corporate Central Credit Union in Hightstown, N.J.
