AACUC to Host Webinar on ‘Amplifying and Promoting Women of Color in Leadership Roles’

SNELLVILLE, Ga.–The African American Credit Union Coalition will host its next Commitment to Change Conversation webinar on Feb. 29, with the session titled, “Amplifying and Promoting Women of Color in Leadership Roles.”

The session will run from 12-1 p.m.

“During this conversation, we will discuss how we can amplify the voices of women of color such that they are seen as viable leaders,” the AACUC said. “What can credit unions do to ensure that women of color are hired, retained and supported in ways that recognize that leadership comes in different styles and from personal and professional backgrounds?”

Women’s History Month
The organization noted that event is being held just ahead of  Women’s History Month, which takes place during March.

“Conversation will showcase women of color and their strategies for navigating and thriving in credit union leadership roles,” the AACUC said.
