SNELLVILLE, Ga.–With its annual meeting scheduled to be held virtually on August 4, the African-American Credit Union Coalition (AACUC) said it is now seeking qualified candidates from the general membership to serve on its board.
There are five positions open.
Those interested in running for the 2023 election should send a letter of interest, which includes resume and biographical sketch (100 words or less) and camera-ready photo on or before May 19, 2023, to one of the Nominating Committee Members.

Eligibility Requirements
Board eligibility requirements include:
- Member in good standing with paid annual membership dues
- Current employee or volunteer in the credit union industry
- Commit to monthly telephonic/video conference meetings
- Secure funding for AACUC
- Attend the AACUC Annual Conference each year
- Attend the AACUC Networking Meeting and Reception as a part of the Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington
- Attend the AACUC planning meeting
- Serve on one of the AACUC standing committees
