SNELLVILLE, Ga.–The African-American Credit Union Coalition (AACUC) has named the inaugural Maurice R. Smith DEI Leadership Award recipients, as well as its new Hall of Fame honorees.
All of the winners will be recognized during the 25th Anniversary AACUC Annual Conference on July 19 at the Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort in Stone Mountain, Ga.
Recognized with the Maurice R. Smith DEI Leadership Awards are:
- Martin Eakes, CEO, Self-Help Credit Union and Self-Help Federal Credit Union
- Juan Fernandez, president/CEO, Credit Union Association of New Mexico
- Gigi Hyland, executive director, National Credit Union Foundation
- Diane Rector, consumer affairs analyst, National Credit Union Administration
- Self-Help Credit Union
Hall of Fame Honorees
To be inducted into the American Credit Union Hall of Fame are:
- Marshall Boutwell, president/CEO, Peach State Federal Credit Union
- Delores Glover, chair, Supervisory Committee, Florida A&M University Federal Credit Union
