SNELLVILLE, Ga.–The African American Credit Union Coalition said registration is now open for its 25th Anniversary Annual Conference. The meeting is to be held July 16-20 at the Atlanta Evergreen Lakeside Resort, about 20 minutes from Atlanta inside Stone Mountain Park.
“The week will be jam-packed with activities, sessions and ceremonies poised to motivate, inform and entertain,” the AACUC said.
This year’s theme is “Legacy,” with the AACUC saying the objective is to honor the organization’s past, present and future.
“Since launching our Commitment to Change initiative, we feel strongly about healing, and we recognize the importance of visiting places that caused hurt in our community,” the AACUC said. “While AACUC is headquartered in Atlanta, we intentionally selected to host our conference in Stone Mountain to see the mountain in a different light, specifically from a perspective of power and to motivate and heal collectively.”
