NEW YORKâAmid the rush for gift cards during the most recent holiday season, a new type of gift card emerged in the market: for fantasy sports.
DraftKings has launched its own branded gift card in what it says is an industry first, The Motley Fool reported.
The fantasy sports and sports betting company partnered with InComm Payments to have $25 and $50 gift cards for sale in chains that included 7-Eleven, Sheetz, and Speedway, but also in pharmacies and general merchandise retailers such as Dollar General.
Consumers are able to use the gift cards to fund their DraftKings accounts.
