PFLUGERVILLE, Texas–A+ FCU has signed a five-year, $300,000 agreement to become the Platinum-level sponsor on the scoreboard that will be part of the new high school football stadium being built here.
In a nod to the town’s name, the stadium, which will be able to seat up to 10,000 people, will be known as “The Pfield.”
The Pfield, expected to be complete by February 2017, will host varsity football games for Pflugerville, Connally and Hendrickson high schools, as well as the district’s fourth high school, which is currently under construction. It will also host some soccer matches, band competitions, select sub-varsity contests, and area playoff games. The Pfield will also be available for community events.
