KNOXVILLE, Tenn.–Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union is celebrating its 90th anniversary this week.
The $4.3-billion TVAECU will officially hit the landmark on Feb. 15, and it awarded $45,000 to 90 members who were selected at random to receive a $500 credit toward their credit card balance.
“Moments like our ninetieth anniversary serve as an important reminder of how support from our membership, is the reason we exist,” President and CEO Lynn Summers said in a statement to the Citizen Tribune. “Our contribution to credit card balances is one way we can express gratitude to our members.”
The 276,000-member KTVAECU said it will host other celebration events during the year.
