$600M Embold Credit Union Names Rani Khouri CEO After Interim Tenure

MILWAUKIE, Ore. — The $600-million Embold Credit Union has appointed Rani Khouri as chief executive officer following his tenure as interim CEO, the credit union announced.

The appointment reflects the board’s emphasis on leadership continuity and long-term stewardship of the member-owned, not-for-profit institution, the CU said.

“Embold’s strength comes from its people, its members, and its mission,” said Board Chair Michael Fraser. “This leadership decision supports our continued focus on financial education, community presence, and putting members first in everything we do.”

Khouri has been with Embold Credit Union since 2013 and previously served as executive vice president and chief financial officer. He brings more than two decades of financial services experience to the CEO role.
