MADISON, Wis.—CUES announced that 52 credit union board members and executives recently completed CUES Governance Leadership Institute, which was held in both Miami and Toronto.
All have earned the distinguished Certified Credit Union Director (CCD) designation, bringing the number of credit union executives and directors who have their CCD to 827, CUES said.
“Attendees of both sessions of this graduate-level program learned from the distinguished faculty at Joseph L. Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, and leave knowing how to balance healthy debate and diversity with consensus building,” CUES said. “Key issues of study include strategy in the boardroom, risk management, negotiations, duty and liability, influencing change, succession planning, and communications.”
