MADISON, Wis. – The Filene Research Institute has announced its newest group of “elite emerging credit union leaders” who will participate in The Cooperative Trust’s Crash program at this year’s Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) in Washington.
“America’s Credit Unions generously covers the registration costs for 51 Crashers to attend the nation’s largest credit union event, presenting a tremendous opportunity for these young professionals to attend,” the organization said. “The Cooperative Trust is thrilled to bring along seven additional Crashers who were sponsored by their credit unions.”
According to Filene, the 2024 Crash the GAC delegation includes 58 credit union professionals from across the country who have “demonstrated exceptional dedication to the credit union movement. These emerging leaders have played pivotal roles within their credit unions and have shown a commitment to advancing the values and principles that define the industry.”
CU ‘SuperStars’
“Each year we welcome a unique group of talented and passionate credit union superstars,” said Filene’s community development director, Cortney Arnold. “Crashers go on to make real impact in the credit union system and our incoming cohort of amazing folks will be sure to dazzle with their collective power and expertise. This Crasher class is one to watch.”
GAC is scheduled for March 3-7.
