TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. —The $1-billion 4Front Credit Union here has purchased Horizon Bank’s Charlevoix branch, acquiring the building, its customers, and the branch’s book of business.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The transaction includes Horizon Bank’s location at 1425 Bridge St. and brings the branch’s customers and employees into 4Front’s membership. Horizon Bancorp is a $6.7 billion-asset bank holding company.

4Front said its existing Charlevoix branch at 1031 May St. will remain open while the former Horizon Bank building undergoes remodeling. Once renovations are complete, 4Front will relocate its Charlevoix operations to the Bridge Street site.
