4 More CUs Select Lending Platform from QCash

OLYMPIA, Wash.–Four more credit unions have selected the “digital life event” lending platform from QCash Financial, according to the company.

The credit unions include Achieva Credit Union in Florida, FirstLight FCU in Texas, O Bee Credit Union in Washington, and Tarrant County’s Credit Union in Texas.

QCash said the partnership will enable all four credit union communities the speed, accessibility, and security to provide members with access to funds when unexpected emergencies arise.

What the CUs are Saying

In statements, the credit unions said:

  • “Flash Cash loans help us fulfill our commitment to helping members through life’s many challenges,” says O Bee CEO James Collins. “Members who would otherwise not have access to funds can borrow money almost instantly for unexpected expenses and emergencies. We are proud to offer this excellent alternative to high-interest payday loans and pawn shops.”
  • “We understand life is full of costly and unexpected challenges, and we want our members to feel fully supported overcoming these financial situations quickly and efficiently,” said Achieva CU President and CEO Gary Regoli. “This technology will allow our members to borrow money instantaneously for unexpected emergencies, so they can get back to what’s important in life.”
  • “TCCU is excited to partner with QCash and bring much-needed access to life-event lending for our membership,” said Carla Reaves, EVP at Tarrant County’s Credit Union. “Rapid Loan allows our members the opportunity to take care of life’s emergencies when they happen.”

‘Fully Configurable’

According to QCash, its platform hosts an automated, fully-configurable mobile life event loan program featuring their “six clicks in 60 seconds” application process that includes decisioning and deposit into the applicant’s account in about 60 seconds.

“Using its relational underwriting algorithm, the QCash platform allows for a more in-depth and detailed 360-degree evaluation process that accounts for more than the applicant’s simple credit score,” the credit union said.
