2 CUs Unveil New Look, New Name

MADISON, S.D.–Two credit unions are unveiling new looks and new names. East River FCU here has taken the wraps off a new logo that features water ripples and a smile as the icon.

The smile mark on the icon creates a bridge between two ripple marks to visually show the connection between the two marks, according to ERFCU.

Erie River last changed its logo in 1996 to represent the electrical members it served. It was changed again in 2004 to represent a move to a community charter for Lake and Miner counties in South Dakota.

ERFCU has 3,250 members.

Meanwhile, in Wilmington, Del., on March 1 Wilmington Postal Federal Credit Union will become Priority Plus FCU. The 81-year-old CU said the move is being made to better position it for future growth.
