MADISON, Wis.–Sixteen people, including two from Corporate Central Credit Union, have been selected to participate in the Wisconsin Ideation and Local Development (WILD) Initiative.
The group held its first meeting at the offices of the Filene Research Institute.
The group will now engage their credit unions in a nine-month, collaborative process to create, test and implement financial products, services and business model ideas to benefit members.
Modeled after the Filene Research Institute's i3 (Ideas, Innovation, Implementation) program, the Wisconsin Innovation Group leverages the Filene Method innovation curriculum to bring an innovation competency to Wisconsin credit unions, with the group seeking to actively participate actively in the disruptive transformation of financial services.
The effort is a collaboration between the Wisconsin league and Corporate Central Credit Union, along with Filene.

The two employees of Corporate Central Credit Union selected to participate are Digital Marketing Specialist Brittany Jordan and Relationship Development Officer Mark Volz.
"I am extremely excited to participate in WILD because I have my mind set on making a difference within my community,” said Jordan. “I am prepared to learn, create, and innovate with fellow credit union employees and truly be an advocate for the credit union movement.”
“I am honored to be selected and to have the opportunity to help create an innovative solution for credit unions,” added Volz. “I am most looking forward to working with my fellow credit union friends to provide a real solution to an issue we are having within our industry.”
“It was impressive to see all the creative ideas coming from so many diverse credit union professionals throughout last year’s initiative. I can’t wait to see what this year’s group of innovators has in store,” said Jesse Kohl, Senior Vice President Corporate Development at Corporate Central. “This is what credit union employees do day in and day out – collaborate to build financially-sound solutions for their members.”
