15 People Graduate With Business Lending Certifications

MADISON, Wis.–Fifteen people have graduated from the CUNA Business Lending Certification Institute and as a result been awarded Credit Union Business Lending Professional (CUBLP) designations.

“Earning the CUBLP designation is not easy; it represents a major commitment and a considerable investment of time and energy,” said Kathy Smith, instructional design manager, CUNA, in a statement. “We congratulate these designees for their hard work and hope they will use their newfound knowledge to improve business lending at their credit unions and spur growth in their communities.”

This year’s CUBLP designees are: Bobby Alkire – Wepco FCU; Christina Biggerstaff – First Trust CU; Stephanie Burckhardt – North Star CU; Nick Delacruz – First Florida CU; Steve Hagestad – Spokane Teachers CU; Trevor Hyre - Pioneer West Virginia FCU; Linda Jones – First Florida CU; Gregory Lamb – Eastman CU; Becky McKenzie – Wepco FCU; Sean McQuaide – PeoplesChoice CU; Edward Nunez – Freedom CU; Kristie Snyder – Wepco FCU; Jason Strader – Ashland CU; Bradley Tichenor – Partners FCU, and Curry Ben Workman of 121 Financial CU.

The program is held in partnership with the University of Wisconsin, Madison School of Business.
