MIDDLEBURY, Vt.–eDOC Innovations said it recently added 12 new signings to eDOCMobile Remote Deposit Capture.
eDOCMobile RDC, a part of eDOC’s check processing suite, CheckLogic, empowers credit union members to deposit checks from anywhere via their Apple or Android smartphone, the company said.
“It has been amazing to see the high rate of adoption we experienced in the last two years,” said Joseph Lao, manager of business development at eDOC Innovations. “More than 100 credit unions of all sizes have signed on, providing numerous members the convenience of mobile deposit using smart devices.”
RDC utilization for credit unions using eDOCMobile RDC are up, with more than 42,000 deposits being made in December.
“With the ever-growing popularity of mobile devices, mobile driven solutions are becoming ‘must-haves’ in the financial world. Members want the option of managing their financial business without having to transact in the traditional way. The influx of credit union signings indicates the industry is catching on,” Lao said.
