WASHINGTON–The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved a Report and Order to create a reassigned numbers database to combat unwanted robocalls. The move has the support of both credit union trade associations, which have been pushing for such a database as part of calls to resolve issues related to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).
